I'm working on a professional freestyle multi-mix collection (not your average joe mix) of a particular artist (can't say who) that had several freestyle hits in the past and I need airplay. Can anyone help? Is there a way I can get this mix to be heard on websites, radio perhaps?? I'm putting alot of time and effort on this project so I want the BEST turnouts possible for it. I want this project to grow.

I'm doing the impossible. It would be worth the time that i've spent once you guys get to hear what I have in store. 😉

I'll be done with this in 2 months tops. Just looking for ideas for right now.
 
well start with:
getting in touch w/ DJ Paradise/ Johnathan (LF)/ and even maybe CPR Jose Ortiz ....for a start I can't think of anyone else really

Jon & CPR play music in New England...they have a radio show
and of course DJP has the internet show every saturday ( xcept for this sat the 17th)

I think Amy(aim4night) has some internet radio thing going on too.

This mix will be over an hour long. Do you think it's possible that they still might showcase it in their shows??? I want the best kind of promotion for it. Any promotion is always good. But i'm thinking bigger.

I also want to see how far I can go with this project. I'm thinking big and crazy here.....LOL No fees for the mix tape just your good ears. This mix will be "priceless". This will be a good project so I would want the proper circulation for it.

Any and all other info would definitely be appreciated. Thank you guys!

And btw, what type of mix is an hour long? I seriously don't think they'll play the full version on the radio.

I've seen mixes going for more than 2 hours long. But this shouldn't be compared to any work done in the past. I doubt airplay on them also unless they are willing to dedicate their entire show to my mix. This mother mix is a little over an hour long (at most, to be safe).

This is why i'm considering anything that comes along to benefit this project.

Well, i've playing around and getting down and dirty and so far I like the sounds of this mix. The ideas were mapped out in my head before shooting it out in action. So far I like the sound of this. The ideas are going just the way I expected.
