First anyone have the lyrics to "eyes of a stranger" ? and also, anyword on when the song will be out & shipped to radio. i emailed 3 different dj's at ktu and no one has yet to respond to me. (this was about 3 weeks ago). i heard the song on ktu on a friday nite and it sounded sooo good, but nothing since.

the song "eyes of a stranger" is already out on Safire's New album "Bringing back the groove"..along w/ some new material & remixes of her old classics.

i'd say just keep asking for the song..on KTU..i am sure they know about it..esp. if it did get some airplay on Friday...
call Judy about oo..during her freestyle show on Sunday nights...aks her to play it too...

Beyond KTU...

depending on where you are..
Call other stations as well to play it...it IS an awesome song...
Call Z100..&..(K104 in Westchester) 105.3, 106.1, 92.7 & ask them to play it as well..or just hit thier websites...
the more you ask..the better...
we can't just count on KTU...!

She shipped out the record but since it wasn't requested they will not add it unfortunately. 🙁
 
what!!! that is so bogus! i have called KTU and requested the song many times. i had a feeling it wasn't gonna get airplay by KTU - even when her duet with cynthia being in the top 8 for soo many weeks, they claimed it wasn't requested and stop playing it.

it would be great to see another station in another city break out the song - like party 93 in miami or energy 92 in chicago -

damn shame, it's such a strong song, one of her best.
 
Philly and loco, I'm feeling ya, it's my favortie track on the album, but two or three people calling in won't make it pa, unfortunately. I would love nothing more then to hear that song on the radio! they want new freestyle and hear it is, yet not too many requests. maybe you guys and me can call all day long and get it on!.😉

seriously...
if we choose a song...& then go after it full force until we hear it..
then we move onto another song...it may even be beneficial to go aftre 2 songs at a time...

Great idea! But is this something that Safire would want to continued to pursue? i hope she dosent give up on the song, in my eyes she's the greatest.

i truly felt that ktu would support "eyes" after they had success with "can you stand the rain" without hesitation -

like i said some other station should break the song so that KTU could eat their words.

when i heard it on vic latinos show - he credited safire for the fresh new sound! and i thought "alright the dj's are giving her props" - i was sure the song would get added to the playlist.
 
what do u mean it wont get air play because of no requests??? how many times have they played it for it to get a request....this is the first i am hearing it is released to radio....let me know please
 
I'm sure at 4000+ one phone call from each member could get on the programmers nerve and get it in the playlist 5 calls from 4000+ would defintrly get someones attention!!!!!
 
I think KTU is dumb sometimes -- How can they say they don't play a certain song because it gets no requests?? I mean, if they don't play it to being with, and no one has heard it, how do they expect it to get requests?? I bet if they played it and people started to like it, they would call in and be like "who sings that song" or "play that song again" -- ive heard it done with other music, they should at least give it a chance and take it from there
 
Unfortunately What I told you came straight from my girls mouth. WE all know how it goes. How many people that have gone to see her perform will actually call the station and request the song? Here's a chance to keep new freestyle on the radio,let's not talk let's do it already! This is one of the most hardest working artist in the industry and I for one will do all I can to help get this song on the radio.

Lock and Load baby, it's time to get this rollin!
