I asked my boss today if I can leave work 4 hours early since we were overloaded with staff. He okays it them 1/2 hr later says no and wont give me a reason to why. Freakin administration at my job are pathetic. I am surprised no one has gone postal there. Cono I I have to burn 40 hrs by April 1 but what sucks I gain 12 hrs every month on my annual time and I have to stay below 320 hrs before April 1 or I can lose that time freakin bull
 
what are you kiddin? im required to work fourteen hour days since thanksgiving six days a week no if ands or buts thats seven in the morning till nine at night the only reason i have tomorrow off is because its ilegal my next day off wont be until jan 2nd!!

I have this week on vacation, becuase I wasn't able to take anytime off during the year becuase of staffing issues, and if I didn't take it before Jan 1st, I lose it.

Then, at a company Christmas party, I get my supervisor complaining how it is so busy this week, why did I have to have this one off????

i got the 24th off the 25th the 26th and i get the 1st and the 2nd off. i get four weeks vacation......ok i'll stop teasing you guys. lol
 
when you see the commercials saying "verizon we never stop working for you" they dont include "because our employees have no choice!!!!"
 
lol I have the 25th and the 1st off- cuz it falls on a Thursday and the Managing Director takes thurs off-

but I make up for it on Sat....9-5...shiiiiii I need my 40 hrs....ain't no welfare cases here
 
i have off tomorrow only because its illegal!! il be back friday for another 14 hours!! who said slavery was abolished!!??
 
I'm off tomorrow and the 1st. Working the 26th and the 2nd. BLAH!

NOT 14 hour days though...just 9! LOL
 
I had to work 2 back to back 16 hr shifts to get christmas off and now I have to do the same for new years I work a lot of double shifts to get an extra day off working in a jail sucks sometimes

yeah that's really slavery.
I have to work all day today and the 31st and the 2nd too. It sucks!!!
But that's what you have to do to survive.
