I'm feeling sad, down, upset, and depressed. Before today, I was just fine. But i'm feeling so bummed out today. Have you guys ever felt this way before???

If so, how would you go about dealing with what's bothering you??

Vic, I know how you feel.....all of a sudden, for no reason, your mood changes. It is frustrating, because you have no idea why it is happening.

What works for me.......Go for a walk, and de-stress. Let your mind wander, think of happy memories, or put on a walkman, and listen to some favorite music, as long as it is happy. Give yourself an inexpensive "treat".....go get some candy, or ice-cream cone, or new cd......

Maybe if you are lucky, you'll run into a friend who will give ya a hug.....

It's not the same thing.......but.........

Hope you are feeling better!!!!

I think we all go thru this once and awhile. But, if's happening often and you have severe mood swings could be a sign of depression or it could symptoms of bi-polar. Hope you feel better.

I don't think so because I catch myself whenever i'm feeling different in moods. I realize the changes and know why the change occurs.

I think if you stay off boards that stress you out, you would not have these problems

~hugs and besitos~

I know exactly what your going through. I was in a rut not to long ago and I simply decided enough is enough. I started talking to my friends again, everytime i got the urge to cry I made me an ice cream float instead. :lol
And I also went for long walks just to try to clear my head and figure out what was really bothering me. Hang in there honey, you will get through.

🙂

But your realising it when it's happening within your body maybe your feeling the chemical imbalance. You know depression and bi-polar is not a mental disease it's chemical. I know that I catch myself changing moods and I feel a difference in my pouster, my voice, my whole deminer changes.

Yeah, I think that should work. I'll do that tonight.

But............how is that going to rid once and for all the stresses in my life???
My mind is constantly thinking. It thinks so much that I can't focus on the things that I have to do. It interferes with my life. And i'm really tired of trying to comfort other people. Making them understand me/ helping them out, etc....

It won't get rid of all the stresses in my life......Life is stress, and how you deal with them affects your health.

You can either go for a walk, lift weights, jog, ride a bike, or something like that, or you can just mope around and wait for it to pass.

As for making people understand you, that is not easy, and that is a challenge that will go on throughout your life. As for helping others out, you will be no good for that if you don't help yourself as well.

You can't stop thinking, but you can force yourself to think of other things.

You need to go for that walk, and let your imagination take over.....picture yourself as anything, that will boost your spirits......As you walk, picture yourself as Superman, flying across a star filled sky, or if you are jogging, picture yourself as your fave football player, running for the game winning touchdown.....anything that will make you smile on the inside....it sounds crazy, but it works.

It's so weird. I don't even know where to begin to explain what's going on with me.

Maybe it's a part of change?? Like i'm in between or something.

I'll try.

How do I focus on what's in front of me and not on other things that are in my mind. I find myself to be an obsessive thinker. Thinking of other problems that are not present but in the future. Been this way for 2 years.
