Yup, I'm one of the lucky ones from TEXAS. This bad boy, err girl, should be hitting Dallas sometime on Sunday. They're predicting a lot of rain and possible tornados here in Dallas. We already have refugees evacuees making their way north through Dallas. Y'all/yous got any room north of Texas??

The hurricane has lost some of his might downgrade to a category 4. But even at a 4, I wouldn't want to be caught in its path.

Damm!! A bus just blew up just South of Dallas killing 20 people. These folks were people evacuating from Houston, Texas. Sad, sad, sad!

Yeah, just saw that on the news, so sad! The traffic is herendous and we've shut down a few of our Highways to make them ONE WAY now...for our incoming folks from H-town and everywhere else.
ALL our hotels are booked (and have been)...................from San Antonio all the way to Oklahoma.

Here in Austin, this weekend it's our annual ACL Fest too, *Austin City Limits*

All this hurricane crap is scary. I saw on Msn that this activity is due to the ocean temp rising by one degree. The ocean temp is expected to rise 5 degrees over the next couple of decades. That's scary. All you gulf coast residents remain in my prayers.
