Okay now, do you buy CD's and DVD's often? If so, how often? What would you say you spend on a monthly basis?


My husband used to buy DVD's everytime he got paid but I stopped that. Too much money and we have a freakin' library of different movies. So I think economically and said "no more". 😀
 
I buy a bunch of them. I just bought 4 today. I buy alot of used one like at blockbuster or at a local place that sells used one at guarantees them for 30 days. He sells them like 7.00 and up. I have all the complete box set of Buffy the vampire slayer and bought them like 25 bucks each except the first season it was only 10 dollars. I'm a bargain shopper but If I have to have I'll buy it!
 
I go and buy dvds every 2 weeks at Best Buy but every month i buy from Columbia House either the ones they offer for the month or another one that i will like instead.
 
cd's.. i try to control myself since i dont work that much, so i get a new one every 1-3 months

and any songs i cant find in stores, i donwload 🙂
 
I usually buy DVD's every week!! Depends on what mood I'm in. Usually 3 to 4 a week..

Actually I buy a few a month on Tuesdays which is when Walmart bets the new releases.
 
Well, like Kary, I am a member of Columbia house.. I buy DVD's every week... maybe 7 a week... I know, I know.. I'm addicted.. lol.. but I can't help it.. I have quite a library as well LaBetty.. and I am a big fanatic on getting all the sequels of a movie.. you know like Scary Movie 1, 2, and 3, Barbershop 1 & 2, Lord of the Rings... etc.
There are still alot I don't have... but I'm sure that won't be for long....

Lol, I thought it was just me. If I have 1 movie, I HAVE to get the sequel as soon as it's available. lol I get a lot of DVD's. I grab any new Alfred Hitchcock movie if I see it. I also love the Twilight Zone DVD's and all the old school action flicks from back in the 70's ("Hell Up In Harlem", "Slaughter", "Foxy Brown". etc.). All these old films are being released on DVD with the original movie trailers and extras and I am lovin it. lol

You guys should do the 12 for 1 cent deal in the beginning. Then you ditch the contract and use another name and do it again. It works. 😉
 
DVD's I haven't been too bad on. I usually get the ones I'm dying to have as soon as they come out, and others I wait till BestBuy or someplace has a sale, and then I go and see what they have. CD's I have my "binges". I won't buy any for a few months, and then I'll just be in shopping mood, and I end up hitting the music store and I easily drop $200 getting any and all CD's that I've wanted or have just stumbled across. And I think my last binge was around February, and I get paid tomorrow and am off Friday, so I think I sense a spree coming on! :nutz LOL
