Does anyone know how many copies of Exo's Do or Die were made (vinyl)??? I just got it and I'm curious.

P.S. I do NOT want to trade or sell it, so please don't ask!! 🙂

Hold onto it!

AnthonyA1971,

From what I've read, about five copies were ever released, although that song is available on Micmac's Freestyle Forever CD.

You've got yourself one very rare 12-inch [😱] : Congratulations.

I always heard the #5 also. I know 2 that have it, now Anthony makes 3, Fernando, I'm sure you have it, that makes 4 right there...so who knows. 🙂

Hey Kenny, ask EXO all you want. I guarantee they don't have this song on vinyl themselves....lol

I know, Johnny. the artists never have a supply of thier stuff. alot of artists tell me that they feel weird when fans ask them for thier cd/albums, thinking they have a secret stash tucked away in their house or something!

But im sure EXO could help shed some light on the mystery.

There is no mystery. MicMac decided not to go along with the single. It was about the time MicMac started having troubles

Hey Johnny, who are the other two you know.....do you have 1 of the 5 ?? If ya can't tell that's cool......Hey, what does everyone think of the song?? I liked it alot....

I know the record is very limited. However, I question that only 5 exist. I heard different stories about the record and know of at least 5 people who have the record. I do not believe those I know are the only ones who have the record. I will not post names since I do not believe the others would want their names posted.

Sammy of EXO does not have the record himself. I was talking to him last year and he mentioned the possibility of the song being pressed again. However, who knows.

Overall: I feel the song is very good and have the Mic Mac CD it is on.

Actually i don't have it. I used to, but i gave it to a friend who collects wax more than me. He gave me 4 records i needed...and i was always a big fan of trading 4 for 1..lol

I don't have it.

I have the song, but it is on the Micmac CD I mentioned previously.

So is it 5 or 50????? What the fudge???!!!!! Hey Francis, how certain are you? Anyway, it's rare either way, so whatever!! I care alot more about the sound rather than the quantity made. I was only curious. I think people get too caught up in the whole rarity thing. Not to say it doesnt matter...it's just that a rare song does NOT mean it's a good song. I remember trading for "Surrender your love" by Francis....my friends were sayin "yeah, get it...it's not too easy to get and it's really good"...I thought it sucked!!!! Anyhow, thats just my opinion!! 😉

Exactly

Just because a FreeStyle record is rare does not mean it is good. There are many rare FreeStyle records which are not worth the vinyl on which they were pressed.

Yup!! I know some people who collect ONLY the rare stuff.....that is not a freestyle lover...that's someone chasing dollar signs. I hate to harp on all of this...is just that I do not like the trend I'm seeing......in terms of the cost of "rare" records. There are too many "rare" records out there. My point is: Don't try to make freestyle vinyl an investment opportunity!!! Love it for what it is....not for copies made!! 😉
