Home Sick (Confusion3)
It's the feeling of a sinner who's backslid too far for forgiveness
Or the feelings of the homeless every year around Christmas
When you don't know who to turn to when things start getting hard
And when you're so confused you can't even talk to God
'Cause you're lost...
So You try to make some sense of all this madness, then cocoon into a nutshell until you replace your friends with all your thoughts
Costing you your loved ones, and now you wonder what it is you bought
Rhetorical questions, except this time, you are asking for more...
Like ‘Why are you going through this?, or ‘What could you have done before?
So many times you’ve wondered why God put so much weight on your shoulders
And though you’ve trembled for so long, you’ve still been able to hold up
Talented in so many different areas, it feels almost like a curse
Want to do this, want to do that, but don’t know where to start first
Full of fear, but don’t fret...
Even though you know the choices you’ve made have left you alone, and in debt
Still, you choose to hold it all in, your heart is about to explode
Because you hurt so much inside, yet outside, no one would ever know
Then you crumble, you disappear, and you run...
