If you have a playstation 2, X-Box, or whatever in your home, I would like to know if there are any controversies over who can play, who plays more than the other, etc? In my house, my husband and my 4 year old son are driving me up the wall with the constant battle of the Playstation 2. My husband is always telling my little one that he can't play for different reasons, i.e., you have to go to bed, you're not listening, you're crying, etc. But yet, my dear husband has died on that system literally playing "Socom" or "Baseball" for about 6 hours straight. I kid you not! Anybody else going through something similar to this scene? They're driving me crazy! And yet my husband goes and buys him games like "Finding Nemo" but he can play it once in a while. What a hassle! :crap

But another system and put it on another tv. So when one is on one the other could use the other.
No problem here I'm the only one that plays.

I've thought about that too. But I don't know. Maybe the next fight will be that both will want to play on the new system now. :confused

If they are driving you up the wall you need to put foot and speak how it's making you feel bebe. 🙂

Ay Antonio, I've tried that! It's a losing battle. When I tell my husband to let my son play for a little while believe it or not he catches a fit with me and feels I'm letting my son get his way. I'm trying to be fair. Not give my son his way all the time. Then if I tell my son "no you can't play right now", then he cries and tells me that his daddy is always playing the games and doesn't give him a chance. So you see that's why it drives me crazy! 🙁

Hi Joe....over here they have vice city too. And Grand Theft Auto. But those games are usually played by my 18 & 19 year old sons. Then theres basketball, baseball, boxing and football games. Oh god Joe, I can rent them out and make money! 😛

Who bought the system? Also as heartbreaking as this may sound...your husband should have complete control over the system being he is a parent. Parent have their way...and their say at all costs.

In my house...when the time comes for wife and child...there will always be discipline and understanding. No need for fighting...fighting leads to heartbreaks, headaches and evil.

Yes I agree with the parents always having control. And it's not that I let my son get control. I just feel bad for him sometimes.
