Hi-yo folks! I'm finally done exams, so for a little R&R, me and 11 of my school friends are hitting Montreal for the weekend. Since it'll be my first time going there, what are some hot spots to hit? I think we're staying on Sherbourne St. or something like that. Also, how cold is MTL now? I mean, should I be bringing a scarf, gloves, touque (sp?). Thanks! 😀
 
LOL your going for the first time and i'm going for my monthly visit!! I'm there once a month just to show them how us torontonians party!!

Actually right now it's the same crappy weather we have so dress like your going out in T DOT. As for hotel, Sherbourne is a HUGE street that spans all of downtown so you better be close to Cresent if you want to walk to most of the clubs. And your last question, hot spots... well vatican is cool, Thursdays has cheap drinks (it's on cresent across from New Town) Dome i think is having some party this weekend and i'm not sure what else since when i go it's usually to all the Greek Clubs close to Parc X, outside of downtown. Now interms of stripjoints, well email me and i'll give you a few to go to that are nice(show wise)! 😉
 
Well I have no idea where exactly we're staying, my buddy set this all up, and I only decided to go last night... 🙂
About the strip joints, lol, I know he said when the girls that we're going with, have to do their girly stuff (ie: shopping), he said we'd hit the joints... lol. I'm sure he knows what some good ones are, but doesn't hurt to have more opinions!

Caddy's huh? That place bites, was forced to go there once for a friend's b-day. I personally don't like Strip Joints either as they're just c**k teasers. 😀 However, there'll be 7 other guys there that I'm sure will wanna go. Personally I'd rather stick around the hotel with one of the girls in the group... 😉

i hate strip joints too .. waste of hard earned cash !! but if i ahd to go to 1 it would only be Whisky a Go Go !!!
 
I second that Portu! Whiskey is a good joint. Used to hit that place during breaks while I was still @ York (and underage 😉). They have classy strippers lol, plus it's not a dirty joint, at least from what I remember. Ahh, back when joints were fun, the whole thing was, am I gonna get in?! I wasn't 19 till 2nd year @ York, heh.

Hey folks! Got in last night around 8pm. I had a pretty good weekend (except till the last night/day we left). Problems w/in the group arose that made things sour. Now in regards to MTL, it's pretty nice there, but I will say, the club scene sucks crapola compared to the T Dot scene! The Dome is a nice SMALL club, all the freakin' clubs in the city are tiny! Secondly, the clubs have some major EQ problems (went to a couple of clubs). The sound was distorted and crap at times, first time I've ever had my ears actually hurt at a club. Next, there's ABSOLUTELY no freestyle played there! Hell, I thought MAYBE, MC Mario would spin some freestyle, but nope. He spun crap towards the end of the night, drum and bass and jungle or something. Not too good. Plus they repeat songs... The 2nd club we went to on Sunday was Tokyo, a small, and I mean small(max 150 people) hip hop club. That place was not good either... hell both clubs played the same hip hop songs, and this one repeated stuff too. What's up w/the DJs there, do they recycle each others records?! Anyway, aside from the clubs and the crap that happened on Sunday, it was fun as hell. We went nuts in the hotel rooms, can you imagine 12 people in one room getting nuts? 😀 BTW, I slept a max of 4 hours total for the entire weekend. It was a blast!
 
Oh ya, one more thing... what's w/the girls in MTL? Woo, they're hot like mad, but they're also damn sexual at the clubs. Girls grinding each other in the gogo cages, girls in their underwear and grinding guys and trying to pull the guy's underwear off and rubbing lotion or crap on each other. Sure I love seeing women's flesh like any other guy, but this is a dance club, not a strip club. 😱
