I definetely wanna see it..my co-workers daughter went to see it this afternoon & she said it was really freaky but the ending had her confused...LOL..I'm planning on going tomorrow night so we'll see...

re: Hide & Seek - I saw it a sneak preview last Tuesday before it came out in theaters, and to be honest I thought it sucked. The acting was great, with an all-star cast and Dakota Fanning is spooky as the little girl, but the movie is very very slow moving with absolutely no suspense or scares in the first hour of the film. It got better toward the end, but the ending was very cliche and disappointing. After the "surprise" is revealed, you realize the plot has more holes than a slice of swiss cheese. I am not going to give it away for anyone who still wants to see it, but my personal recommendation is save the 10 bucks for one of the other movies coming out that look great - "The Boogeyman", "Alone in The Dark" and "Cursed" (starring Christina Ricci), which are all out this month...you can look them up on www.imdb.com for more info (love that site!)

One of the main reasons "Hide and Seek" was so disappointing is because I am a huge horror movie fan and I actually collect rare and out of print horror as a hobby - including all the better known movies, I have at least 1000 horror films in my collection and I have even had to create a website to keep track of them all LOL...

and if u wanna save another 10 bucks... do not watch "alone in the dark"... really... i waste of time and money...

as for hide and seek, i heard mix reviews about it... i think i'll check it out...
 
Oh Dayum, I thought with this cast, it was a sure thing. I didn't think Robert DeNiro would be in a horror unless it was good.

I guess if you go into a horror movie just to be scared, then it sounds like this isn't the one to see.

Suppose to go this weekend.

Definitely going to see BoogeyMan.

Diamond Girl - thanks for the "heads up" about Alone In The Dark - but take my advice - wait until Hide & Seek comes on cable to catch it...the best thing about it was the jumbo popcorn and big box of raisinets I wolfed down. if I had actually paid to get in I would have been VERY upset....that just leaves two movies - Boogeyman and Cursed...what ever happened to the kind of great horror movies from the 80's...the ones that even when they were bad they were so funny they were still great - they sure don't make 'em like they used to...

Well I know why they called it "Darkness" - because I was in a coma by the time the end credits rolled!!! The WORST!
