Help! Where do we start???

Ok, so my sister and I have been singing together for years, just local stuff. But we really want to get into Freestyle music. Only Problem is, we dont know where to start! Being that there are some serious artists here, what do you suggest? Where is the best place to start? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! If this is posted in the wrong place, then i apologize!😉

I would suggest you record a demo of above-average quality, hire a photographer or a friend with a decent camera and take some black & white promotional photos, make a portfolio with some information about you and your sister and include the picture as your album cover. Once you do that, contact EVERY label associated with "Dance" music and request a "contact" name. Send the demo's out to those that you feel are interested in your music. Those that reply back are the ones you want to focus on. Also, every opportunity you have, perform! If there is an act coming to you area, ask if you can open up for them. The possibilites are endless. But be creative and be yourself. Try and bring something different to the table. Be original. Write your own music. Copyright everything.
