HELP -- Boston CFers

Do any Boston CFers know of any clubs that book freestyle artists or play freestyle music? I'm heading up there for a weekend and want to check out the scene up there. Thanks!

Ivan to be honest with you,,,boston gave up on freestyle, the only club that plays freestyle is Copa...on Saturdays, the dj is called Rip Hernandez, but, he also plays hip hop, latin house and reggae, but he is good, this place is good, but guess what, it closes at 1.45am, which is early compared to the city, but is at close that you get to freestyle.

Hey Budman, thanks for getting back to me.

Where is this Copa? Is it Copa at Roxy or is the name of the club Copa? Also, what about the clubs in Lawrence, MA? Your profile says freestyle's alive and well out there. How far is that from Boston?

Ivan copa is in Saugus, this complex is huge, you have about 20 clubs in one place, you have techno, hip hop, salsa, merengue, and freestyle all in one, is about 25 miles from Lawrence, I say freestyle is alive where I am, because, I am the one spreading the love of the music,,,but, let me know when you are going to come, I will pm you w/ my email and phone number........
