DAYUM!!!!!!

🙁 MIKE IS THERE A POSSIBILITY THAT "SOSA" CAN BE INVESTIGATED,TO SEE IF THE BATS HE MADE HISTORY WITH WERE CORKED TO..GESH..THAT WOULD BE A DISAPPOINTMENT..:confused :crap

it would be a shame that it happened. But watching ESPN all day in the office, they was discussing this. They had experts to show that corking the bat will increase HR 1%. So it won't do much good. But it does increase the bat speed.

Well Mike... leave it to you. 😉

Yeah, I heard about this yesterday...

When it comes to swinging (the bat that is 😉) doesn't speed equal power... and if the cork brings more speed... doesn't that mean it helps with the distance the ball will go?

It's a shame... either way... I still think he's not a bad guy. :lol

After hearing Sammy's explanation for using a corked bat I was somewhat inclined to believe him. His claim was it was placed there by accident. He only uses the corked bat to hit home runs during batting practice and give the fans a show. There's a problem with that explanation. Last night (June 4) on Fox news a reporter explained that Sammy's explanation is an outright lie. The Cubs finish batting practice before the gates open at Wrigley Field. The only show that Sammy is putting on is for his teammates and the press. Other than that there are no fans in the seats.

Sammy has more explaning to do.

Really Harry?

Well, maybe the truth IS that he uses those bats during practice to hit the balls to the fans, ... and that they were placed in the Playing Field by accident.

I can believe that.
