I wanted to share that my son is well on his way to being Bi-Lingual lol he learned another song and I was so proud at how smart he is They were playing Daddy Yankees "Gasolina" on TV and he was walking around drinking his milk, he was of course dancing as was I and then teh music finishes and I started singing the song to my surprise Tavian started singing it to all you hear is is his version of the song in baby talk of course ending in lina I thougt I was hearing things so I started isnging it again as soon as I would stop he would start lol I was so proud my lil man is picking up both languages yay lol :dancepuff :dancepuff

that is good. they say it is very easy for young kids to pick up other languages, and it should be started asap.

Me and His daddy speak to him in both it is great that his dad speaks it too because he ask and tells him things in spanish and I ask him and tell him things as well he knows what go get your ball means when I ask him in spanish kisses, que lindo so he is learnign but I was so shocked at hearing him sing in Spanish lol . It is importat to me that he be hilingual its to his advantage to know spanish .

That's great!!!:cheer :yeey

I really think kids should learn more than one language...my goddaughter who is 2 years old knows both Spanish and English...I really think it's a shame when I see kids that only know English and their parents themselves have difficulty with it...C'mon! I learned both spanish and english at a very early age...and give thanks everyday for the ability to speak, read, write and understand both...It's a big advantage in the long run!!!

I agree my mom made sure we spoke it my grnadmother taught me how to read and write it by simply readng the Bible with me. This way he knows english and spanish and if he chooses to learn a third language in school.

My grandmother didn't know english...so she tolds us that if we wanted to eat we better talked to her in Spanish...so you know my fat azz learned Spanish with the quickness...I wasn't going to starve to death...oh hell no!

that is so good sexy! my daughter refuses to learn spanish the only words she will repeat are the ones dora the explorer says!

Thank you Susie I am hoping he continues he is only going on 18 months but I guess isnce he is at the sponge stage he will continue to repeat everything he hears.

Very good Angie keep teaching him both (Eng&Span)...its essential. 🙂
