Of late, Stefani has been collaborating with producer Dallas Austin at his Atlanta studio. "I got three [songs] done and we are going to finish two more here in L.A. this week," she says. In tandem with No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal, she has penned a track "that is really a mixture of everything we loved growing up: Prince, Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam and Club Nouveau."

When you mention freestyle, the first name to pop up with the casual fan in the 80's is; Lisa Lisa. Like gruge, it was Nirvana, like Disco, it was; Donna Summer.

Lisa Lisa was good on the first two albums then she went R&B and I lost interest. She didn't have that many freestyle songs. Although I like her, I wouldn't consider her the ultimate legend of Freestyle.
