Hey all,

It’s been a while since I’ve been here and I feel enough is enough with this music, this business and this career (if you want to call it that). I’m saying goodbye and this time for good. My career as a singer in my opinion has been satisfied. I’ve meet great people and artist along the way, that had I not returned, they would have not been a part of my life. I’ve had to deal with a lot of bullshit along the way as well and I’ve over come them all still standing tall with my head held high without shame or embarrassment. That is just my character and nature. I’ve made good friends and plenty of enemies in this path to a dream. But something great happened in my life much more important than singing and an opportunity like this one only comes once, no second chances and I’m taking my chance now. I still have one project to complete because I gave my word, but once complete my job has been done.

I want to thank everyone who supported me and always watched my back at Club Freestyle, Latin Freestyle, NHB Freestyle and at Whachamissin. To all the friends I made along the way, I will forever cherish your friendship. I may be gone from the scene but I will keep in touch. To the haters, you all can kiss my ass big time!

It was great while it lasted but the time has come to move on in life. Goodbye! Take care everyone and may the lord bless you all and kept you all safe under his arms. For those who care to keep in touch, my email is fernanda712@yahoo.com.

Thank you Joe, believe me it worth everything in this life to give up for and in the end I will be the most happiest. With you I ask to please take care of yourself. I wish you luck too in your future and stay strong, your wish will come true too one day!
 
your welcome . i will try to take care of myself there has been times that i wanna give up but people wont let me . but soon nobody will stop me like you i wanna be happy and if i give up i will be in a better place with my dad and away from the hate .
 
Cheree, i just wanted to tell you thank you for the music journey you took us in. Your music touched me in many ways, when i was going through hard times in my life. I am sad that your leaving us but im sure it's for the better. I will keep on supporting you in everything you do and may the Lord bless and guide you. Good Luck.

I had the chance to see you perform in Buffalo back in 2002 (the big bash that November at the Hyatt Grand Ballroom) -- I didn't get a chance to say anything then because of the crowd and how quickly you got rushed out, but it was a GREAT performance, I just wish I'd had a chance since then for a second show! (I was lucky enough, though, to get one of the "sampler CD's" that were handed out! 🙂)

As Joe said, best of luck in the future, and just remember, no longer performing DOESN'T mean you're not welcome here on the board anymore! 😉
 
Cheree I wish you luck with your new opportunity. You're doing the right thing by taking it if you're 100% sure it's for you. Do your thing. 😉

You will be missed in the world of freestyle but always remembered. (Well that's my personal feeling) 🙂 And if you feel fulfilled, then that's one of the accomplishments in your lifetime.

You have a beautiful family, a beautiful daughter and I know that's first in your life. Enjoy your life Cheree. Be happy. Haters are everywhere and we can't do anything about those. They exist within family. So you just smile and keep doing your thing. Never let anything get to you.

God bless you and your family. You'll be missed. But you don't have to be a stranger. 🙂

Cheree its sad to see you but I wish you luck in whatever journey your about to embark on. Take care of yourself and your beautiful lil angels, in the end they are all who matter.

You're a kool person, & your songs always bring great memories for me & many others.
Maybe in the future you can still do a performance or two.
(I know my high school reunion would go crazy for that!) 🙂

Its sad to say but I know this time would come one day, and it will eventually come for every other classic freestyle preformer out there. There are a lot of die hard fans out there but not nearly enough for an artist to survive and make a living on. Freestyle will never ever be what it was and its a shame that it turned out to be a kind of a fad so to speak. I know Fernanda for many years now (its been a while since we last seen each other) but she is a strong person that will suceede in what she does. There is no need to worry about that. This business is just very rough and once you done freestyle not to many artists' are taken seriously when they try to move on to a different genre of music or what not. I've seen plenty of artist go through it and it sucks to see them fail.

Thanks everyone for the support on this one! It's hard to walk away from something that made a huge part of my life but hanging on is even worst. I just feel and believe that in life there are better things to spend your time on where your not giving anything up. To all the artist that continue I wish you all much luck as for me it's time to let go and with great success I have. I still have some commitments in regards to show but after 2004, I see no more. So to all the fans that believed in me and supported me I thank you from the depth of my heart sincerely. Bless you all and I wont be a stranger. I will say HI from time to time to see how my family is doing because that's what you guys were to me, including the haters, a family and always will be.
