C'mon guys, it wasnt THAT bad!

I thought it was a kool movie.
Mariah diddnt suck as most thought she would, & the whole theme with the NYC early 80's dance-funk, I thought was great.

Mariah's cover of Cherelle's "Diddnt Mean To Turn U On" from 1984 was great I thought, & the other songs were funky too.

Honestly, what did u guys think of this flick & music all-around???

david caruso (from nypd blues) has more of a chance on a film comeback!!! mariah will be licky to get a new song playing again much less a break in the movies!!

Anyway, I saw the movie and I didnt think it was that bad and I have the soundtrack, which I enjoy. Im a Mariah fan so I have all of her albums! The only one Im missing is the remix cd.

Freestygal - The remix cd is good.. it's 2 disc i dont like the 1st disc its all club versions of her songs, the 2nd disc is goooooooood.. it also has the song with her & busta, her & nas (make it last forever)

Started watching it, but got bored with it.
Didn't get to see all of it. I love Mariah, but the movie
to me it didn't get my attention.

Oh mah God, that movie is so cute. And she's so like that in real life. It wasn't that bad. Hollywood just likes to make a big deal out of nothing.

Some of the parts are funny as hell, when she's making the video for "Loverboy" and she's half naked, giving the Mariah smile, with glitter falling from up above! It's hilarious.

"I Didn't Mean To Turn You On"- She breathed new life into that song. It's hot.

The soundtrack is a must have for any fan of her music.​

the last song on the soundrack "twista" is about her makeup girl who commited suicide i read an article about her in GLAMOUR magazine... that song is so sad....

"Never Too Far Away" is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard and definitely one of Mariah's best!

Here's another little piece of gossip about the movie...I heard that Tia Texada who plays one of her back-up singers and is now on Third Watch and Mariah did not get along at all while doing the movie!

I loved the movie. So, many people i think wanted her to fail and bashed it before they even saw it. Especially with 9/11 going on. You know they say timing is everything. People should of been more open minded to it. WWWWWOOOOO!!!!! (doing a dean yell for Mariah Carey) LOL
