I hope u guys have been hearing (or heard) the interview with both Brenda K. Starr & George Lamond!!!

They have me laughing my a$$ off ova here! ....lol.

Since it's "Freestyle Friday",
they talked about the old Freestyle days, their new stuff in Latin music, gossip about Brenda, Mariah, & India, ...Brenda & George's kids (& him taking his kids to see "Spider-Man")...lol!
..& other kool things.

They also said that they would love to perform at the Freestyle Concert down here in July for MEGA 103.5!!!!

I hope they come!
 
Hey,,wanna hear a rumor?

I think I know who called in to ask about the INDIA rumor!!! I recognized the voice,,BUT WILL MENTION NO NAMES. I KNOW THAT VOICE ANYWHERE.

Anyways, Co.B was right..he talked about his 6 yr.old son asking in the movie theatre while the movies was going on.."What's gonna happen next daddy,,what's gonna happen next"..and the man next to George was breathing hard..as if telling/hinting George to shut the kid up,..WE WERE CRACKING UP IN THE CAR,,my brother and I thought it was hilarious.

He has 2 kids. and he was telling stories about bring them to his performances and the drama it caused..I was laughing.

Brenda talked about her life, how she got started when she was 8 yrs. old and the first promo tape her mom paid for her on her 13th b-day...and from the moment on she knew she wanted to be a singer. She has a degree in broadcasting and eventually would like to go there.

Miriam (the other DJ and Ginos' wife) and Brenda practically took over the show at one given moment,,,but GINO took control of it again.

OVERALL, IT WAS A GREAT INTERVIEW WITH BOTH SINGERS/PERFORMERS.

I left the station just before Brenda came on. George was originally scheduled to be on at 7:00am, then 7:30. Apparently he either missed a flight or something because everyone at the station thought he was coming in person. Consequently, he did a remote from another Clear Channel station in NY.

Lou Lou you won't say the name but I will. It was ClubGirl. Leave it to her to instigate!!!! I wanted to get pictures of GL for Vero but unfortunately he's in NY.

I imagine it bothers Brenda that Mariah's name is mentioned in EVERY interview she does. That must suck. On the other hand, Joey Kidd's name is never mentioned in GL interviews because GL's success is much greater than that of his cousin.


I don't think Brenda's voice is what it once was. In listening to "Love on a two way street" this morning, her voice doesn't hit me the way it did in "I still believe".

It was nice to hear "No matter what". HAdn't heard that in a while.
I think GL and Tony Moran both have the most phenominal voices in FS.
Question is, who's # 1?????

I did call to find out what was the info between her and India. I make no secret that when I meet brenda she wasnt very nice to me. I didnt like her new song love on a two way street. I definetly know she didnt say the truth when it came to india and they had me live on the air and as soon as I asked my question they hung up on me...
I think I touched a nerve with brenda...
I hope to talk to India next week as she will be in miami for a concert...
