The last 6 years many hip hop kids abandoned big designers like Tommy and Polo due to rumors of them making racist about people color wearing their clothes. Now designers like Fubu, mecca, Sean John and Rocca wear is hot in the community. Which brand you like. Fubu is OK, Sean John is nice, but too pricey and Diddy is still overrated.

I rock most of em', Fubu...not really.
Ahhh, you forgot Miskeen, thats hot

Really ? 1st I heard of that.

Thats right Henny sweetie!!! I heard something like that about Fubu years ago when it first came out but I'm not into Fubu so I don't let it bother me

The name has been misinterpreted since its inception FUBU does mean For Us By Us was founded by 5 childhood friends from Queens the purpose in creating this line of clothing was at a time when when other clothiers were targeting black consumers for urban wear and none were black owned. What was meant to be somethign positive has since its birth not been recieved as what it intially was intended. They basically started this label for the above reason If you think about it how many black owned labels are there or more so were there when FUBU came out none Labels like Tommy Hill, Polo etc etc were teh labels who most kids buoght from and at teh time those kids were black or minority kids. Racism was never intended @ the time if I am not mistaken around 1992 when they started the label they were unaware anyone other then urban blacks were wearing this style of clothing it wasnt with ill intetnt that they named it FUBU think about it and how far HIp-Hop has come I say HIp-Hop because its where this style fo clothign is derived from. I think what they did was something positive they were a group of men who saw no one from within ther ecommunity or race was catering to them so said hey lets do this with the knowledge they had within there community there was nothing racial about it people saw it that way but it was NOT there intention even now FUBU is world wide in places such as Germany, France,Italy,Philippines, Australia etc etc

I don't wear designer clothing but my daughter loves Ecko Red, Lady Enyce, Baby Phat, Lacoste, Timberland, JLo, Puma, Prada ...there are so many to continue...

i really waer whatever i like and what looks good on me it dosent matter what it is ill sport out whatever
