FreezeStyle CD

Although this CD has been out for a few months, nobody really seems to be talking about it. That's a shame, since it is a good album. It's a lot better than the imitation dance/pop crap trying to be passed off as the new FreeStyle.

All the real FreeStylers need to get ahold of this baby, which was produced by Willie V., one of the best producers still in the FreeStyle game.

You need to show your support for this effort, since doing otherwise will lead to the FreeStyle's community being left with nothing but wannabe dance/pop crap.

bad distribution

The reason that nobody talked about the Freeze abum is because of the bad distribution.

This CD is only available in few record stores that Willie V knows.

This is why the information and the work from a label and especially from a producer is very important in this kind of case.

I've heard good reviews about this album, too bad that the CD is not available everywhere, especially in the retail stores specialized in Freestyle music.

Personally, I have big difficulties to get it, not because I'm in France but because of the bad distribution.

Just my opinion.

sorry that the cd is hard to get. but i have approached stores to get it in and they all turned it down with the exception of rincon musical in new york (which is my distributor) and stores in ct and mass. only way to really order it now is through amazon.com at the moment. distributors wont touch this album cause they dont know who freeze is and they dont know his music.

WELL I DO SOME BUYING FOR A STORE IN TEXAS AND HAVE CARRIED WILLIES STUFF ALONG WITH ALOT OF OTHER FREESTYLE LABELS. THE PROBLEM IS NOT REALLY ONLY DISTRIBUTION BUT AIRPLAY!!!! I HAVE ASK MANY LABELS TO GET PROMOS ON MUSIC SO THAT I CAN PUSH IT! PEOPLE SHY AWAY BECAUSE THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THE ARTIST OR THEY ARE NOT SURE ON THERE NEW RELEASES. I AM THE SAME SOMETIMES. AS MUCH AS I WOULD LOVE TO CARRY EVERY ARTISTS MUSIC IN THE STORE BOTTOM LINE IS ON DEMAND AND SALES. IF PEEPS DON'T HEAR IT TO KNOW ITS THERE THEN THEY AIN'T GONNA BUY! MY STATION IS COMMUNITY BUT WE BROKE ALOT OF SONGS THAT MADE IT MAIN STREAM FIRST BUT THATS BECAUSE IT WAS MADE AVAILABLE TO US! WILLIE HOOKED IT UP WITH SOME PROMO CD'S AND I AM TRYING MY BEST TO GIVE IT PLAY BUT IN ORDER FOR THE WHOLE COUNTRY TO GIVE IT A TRY AGAIN YOU NEED TO REMEMBER TO GET IT TO EVERYONE THAT IS IN POSITIONS TO HELP YOU!
