I have noticed were I am from in the BAY AREA that some people calll FREESTYLE music HINRG, how wrong they are-they just dont know nothing. Some of the faults are with the DJs who kept on calling FREESTYLE, HINRG in the early 90's.True some FREESTYLE artists do sing or have a mix of HINRG.EXAMPLE....
LIL'SUZY-"PROMISE ME"= FREESTYLE
LIL'SUZY-"WHEN I FALL IN LOVE"=HINRG

HINRG is a EURO sound that was huge in the early 90's and still contines today, especially by canadian artists...
EXAMPLE....
2 UNLIMITED-"GET READY FOR THIS"
LA BOUCHE-"BE MY LOVER
CAPTAIN HOLLYWOOD-"MORE & MORE"
REAL McCOY, and many other artists.

FREESTYLE(once called LATIN HIP HOP or CLUB) is an american form of music that was huge in the 1980's,90's and continues today with it's mixture of BREAKBEATS,ELECTRO,BASS, and sometimes LATIN rhythms.
EXAMPLE....
CYNTHIA,JOHNNY O,TKA,SAFIRE,NAYOBE,COVER GIRLS, NU IMAGE,ETC.....

WELL hopefully people are listening and know what their hearing, I know I do. :spliff

It's a mistake or simply a missunderstanding.

It's definitively two differents musical genres.

Hi NRG is a dying music. In Europe, this genre is less and less played on the radio stations and clubs.

I don't like it at all...this is a musical genre (as Euro Dance) that really sucks.

Yeah,I agree FRANCIS but still some people in the BAY AREA still call FREESTYLE,HINRG-Which is why I posted this.Another example is the CD "FREESTYLE LOST & FOND" comp from WILD 94.9-at the beginning of the cd they say we will be hearing FREESTYLE HINRG?????I heard no HINRG on that cd,just FREESTYLE.The mixers & DJs need to get this straight, because FREESTYLE is no way close to HINRG!!
