HELLO EVERYONE OUT THERE I HAVEN'T POSTED IN A WHILE. I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE I CAN FIND A VIDEO COMPILATION ON DVD FOR FREESTYLE VIDEOS. I WOULD APPRECIATE ALL FEED BACK.

i did a quick search on tower records and found nothing! i'd be surprised if they actually had them. 🙄
 
KENNY I COULDN'T HAVE SAID IT BETTER. BUT MAYBE IF WE KEEP UP WITH POSTING AND THE RIGHT PEOPLE SEE THIS IT MAY HAPPEN.
 
Holy Schnikies!!! I swear to "the parrot" I was thinking that the other day! I'm a HUGE DVD collector & I said to myself "a compilation of Freestyle muzik videos on DVD would be flava-licious!" I got an old tape of Freestyle videos MTV played (once upon a time). But that sh*t is on it's last leg 'cause I played it out so much! It would be GREAT show off material! Talk to me JackG, what can we do to make a Freestyle video DVD???

Does Cynthia have any videos? i dont recall seeing any. there had to be some. there is a video section on her website but it just says "coming soon".
 
MTV still got old freestyle videos, they just dont play 'em. i seen Marc Anthony on MTV once talking about his favorite music and he brought up freestyle. they showed 3 short clips of George LaMond, Expose, & The Cover Girls while he was talking. so they must still have 'em but they're old so when would they play 'em! LOL
 
😀 M TV SHOULD SELL THE VIDEOS TO VH1 AND THEN THEY SHOULD DO A WHERE ARE THEY NOW FREESTYLE MUSIC
 
As far as i know, CYNTHIA, JUDY TORRES and a few others never had music videos (correct me if im wrong)

SAFIRE, GEORGE LAMOND, LISSETTE MELENDEZ, SWEET SENSATION, COVER GIRLS are among those who had several music videos. (4 or more)

I do recall some of the crossover ballads, "thinking of you" by SAFIRE & "if wishes came true" by SWEET SENSATION were showned on VH1.

Any and all freestyle dance videos that i've seen were all shown on MTV INTERNACIONAL, (spanish version)- I doubt if any were shown on the english version of MTV.

I have an IDEA!

😀 First of all MTV should sell (or maybe they'd give them away lol) the freestyle video's to Club Freestyle!

We could all take up a collection to donate money to the cause (hey after all this site is FREE)! Anyone that donates money gets a free compilation or two, and maybe gets thanked in the shout-outs inside the comp! Anyone that doesn't donate their time helping make this a reality, or their money, has to pay to get it! It should be made available in VHS, and DVD format!

I would also like to ask the artists out there, there's soooo many of us that will never get to see some of you in a live performance, and even if we do get to see you we may want to relive the moment! So I ask all of you, why can't you have someone tape your live freestyle shows, (even if it's just one artist in the show), and sell them SOMEWHERE! Here maybe? ANYWHERE! A compilation of your old videos or performances would be nice too!

When I went to Freestyle Rush in Philly Stevie B was selling a VHS tape of his old videos for $10 I think I paid. It looks like the video gave credit to his fan club or something. It wasn't packaged all fancy or anything, but I really enjoyed watching it (I had fun seeing all his different hairstyles, and types of clothes he used to wear), I'm telling you I was having some major 80's flashback's!

What do you all think?
 
FREESTYLE MOM I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU 100 PERCENT. 🙂 I WAS LOOKING TO EMAIL MTV YESTERDAY BUT COULDN'T FIND HOW TO EMAIL THEM. OR HOW ABOUT EVEN ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY? TODAY MTV WAS DOING A MARIAH VIDEO MARATHON AND THEY SHOWED A CLIP OF BRENDA K STARR'S VIDEO FOR I STILL BELIEVE A SONG IN WHICH MARIAH CAREY REMADE. DID EVERYONE KNOW THAT MARIAH ORIGIONALY WAS A BACK UP SINGER FOR BRENDA K. STARR?

I still wish that the freestyle artists/groups would have someone videotape their live performances and sell them here, or somewhere!

And if they have any old videos I wish that they would allow JackG, or someone, to put together a compilation, like you'd put together a cd comp., only thing I haven't figured out is the business end of it lol, like how do you split the profit, and who pays the start-up costs?😕
