What’s up my Freestyle people? It’s Swins Fontenelle from Freestyle Universe on facebook.com comin’ at you today with a bit of an update on Freestyle Universe. Those of us who are on facebook frequently know that it has its little glitches and currently the group: Freestyle Universe cannot be found on that site, but we at Freestyle Universe know that the show must go on so we created a back-up group that will work with Freestyle Universe or for Freestyle Universe (when it’s down) called Freestyle Universe Annex. I would like to encourage all my freestyle people to join both of these groups and help us support the music that we all love. Those of you in the New York City area; tune in this Thursday, June 17th at 8:00 pm as Freestyle Universe returns to the Aurelia Show on Time Warner Cable with Freestyle artist: Sammy Zone! All you party-types; don’t forget to go to Sidetracks “Home of Freestyle Fridays” where Freestyle songstress: Denine will be performing all of her Freestyle hits, this Friday, June 18th! A note to all of you industry folks: Freestyle Universe is holding its next Freestyle Industry workshop on Tuesday, June 22nd at St. Clement’s Episcopal Church: 423 West 46th Street (between 9th and 10th Avenues) in Manhattan. The topic will be on how we can get the club DJs to start playing (old and new) freestyle in their venues. Should be interesting! Ciao for now!
