For some reason I still have freestyle tapes from like 10 years ago...The tapes sound horrible but for some reason I treasure them like gold...Do you guys have old freestyle tapes and don't want to let go?
 
I have some freestyle mixxes tapes from Bobby D & Bad Boy Bill from over 10 years ago. I won't let them go.
 
Gotta go with Dez.....as many times as I have listened to those 10 year old tapes......they still sound good.....I can't part with them.....the wife would go before the freestyle tapes!!!!!!!
 
Undacvr got it right ... the MUSIC comes FIRST !! I'd have to consider shippin' the woman off as well, if it ever came to it !

I've even thought about getting an extra FIRE PROOF SAFE, just to keep my TAPES in ... they are definitely INVALUABLE and IRREPLACEABLE !!! I could NEVER let em go !!!

Man, if anything ever happened to my tapes -- I don't know WHAT I'd do !

Now there's an idea......a fire proof safe for all my valuable tapes......too bad the woman can't fit in it......keep her quiet for awhile so I could enjoy my tapes!!!!!!
 
oh my god i got tons of tapes probably over a hundred from the years 87-92. im glad i saved them all...i got live shows,interviews from some of the biggest freestyle acts from NY & miami,commercials from shows....i will never get rid of them!

yo bboy for real if you have any dj mixed tapes from then freestyle or house or hiphop do me a favor and hook me up with a copy. Im always lookin for stuff from those years because thats when my story takes place so get back to me on that aiight. ill be very grateful. thanks bro

I have 3 cassette boxes, one huge black 2-sided bag, and 1-little bag of tapes of POWER96 from 93-200,,,when Jammin Johnny mixed on Saturday, DJ Rene on Sundays, Diego D during the week, the other guys, what's his name, (he's mixing sometime on 98.3,,,,,,,,,,I remember now, CHIEF RAMON HERNANDEZ, remember him?

AND THEY ARE ALL IN GREAT CONDITIONS.

I have every deejay from Julian Jumpin Perez, Bad Boy Billl, Bobby D, Scott Smokin Sillz, Kenny Jammin Jason, Fast Eddie, To Kool Chris, Dino Latino, Eddie Kickin Cruz, Tony Washington, Yule the Wizard Wallace, Mark The Ace Lowey, Tim Spinnin Schommer, Ralphie Rockin/ The Razz Rosario, DJ Ping, DJ Markski, Richard Humpty Vission, Juan Kato, Mickey Mixin Oliver, Tony Boom Boom Badea, DJ Funk, Miss Juniour Vasquez, plus a few from NY that I cant remember their names right now all from the radio. Then I have all the mixx tape deejays DJ Aztek, DJ Brownside, DJ Twist, DJ Alan Baddmixx Boyd, Opie Cuttingham, DJ Gizmo, DJ Payback Garcia, Tom Throwin Down Denic, Kid Heartbreak, DJ Poundd, DJ Miracle, 2 Sweet Zeke, DJ Lalo, DJ Porky, plus about 50 others. I have literally over 1000 mixxes ranging from House, Disco, Freestyle, Euro, Progressive, Hip Hop, Acid House, Hip House, Techno. I am the KING of mixxes in San Antonio. I have over 4000 records from Disco to House to Freestyle to Techno. I don't have any pop, bass, trip hop, or hip hop records. I consider myself to be the KING of dance music in San Antonio. I know alot of deejays here in the city & they all have CD compilations, mp3's, but I will take out any deejay in San Antonio in WAX. Only the realist deejays can be in CBA. That's why there are only 5 members. So I will give them LOVE on this post: DJ Slik, DJ Baby O, DJ Slic Vic & DJ Cheeto. I am not hatin', I give love to DJ Powerstyle, DJ Too Much, DJ Menace from Spin Rockas. They are up there as far as another crew in this city. But we are on top. Also, DJ Tony, DJ Juls, DJ Mista Bizy are the only other dee jays making noise here in SA. So like I said not talk smack we are the BADDEST CREW in SAN ANTONIO! Nuff Said
 
YO FREESTYLEVET TOOK IT BACK........ THOSE WERE THE DAYS WITH TRUE FREESTYLE MIXES ON POWER. I GOT TAPES FROM WHEN LEO VELA (NOW AT 98.3), DIMAS MARTINEZ, FUNK E FRANK, AND RAFI CONTIGO (NOW AT 95.7) HOSTED WITH ALL THE TRUE POWER DJ'S THAT FREESTYLEVET MENTIONED ABOVE.

DIMAS MARTINEZ WHEN HE USE TO BE PART OF POWER PATROL, REMEMBER HE DID THAT SONG CALLED "I'LL BE WITH U TONIGHT"! COX,BO GRIFFIN, TONY THE TIGER,TANNER IN THE MORNING,PHIL JONES, DJ LAZ AND ALL THE OLD SCHOOL POWER DJ'S WE GREW UP LISTENING TOO.....HOW I MISS THOSE DAYZ...

ALL O F MY OLD TAPES WERE PURPOSELY BROKEN BY AN EX OF MINE SO I HAVE NO TREASURED 10 YEAR OLD TAPES OF FREESTYLE I WILL BE WILLING TO SEND SOME BLANK TAPES IF SOMEONE IS WILLING TO MAKE ME A COPY OF A TEN YEAR OLD TAPE FOR ME.....PEACE,LISA🙁
