Back in 6th grade(this is 1996) I started stealin my older brother's (hes got 5 years on me) cassettes. Some were slow jams, some were hip-hop, and some were...freestyle. The other casettes I stuffed back in his drawer. But the freestyle, I kept. I've been jamming to Johnny O's Fantasy Girl since that year, 1996. And now I have three versions of it (extended, radio edit, and original mix)

My music life beagn with freestyle. And I've sort of become another one of those "freestyle archivists". I have a pretty OK collection, (about 600MB) and I only want it to grow. So that all my friends can hear the sound that was, is, and always will be...freestyle.

Damn, Corina and Lisette put me on to what FREESTYLE was. My older cousin (he's 2 year's older than me) was a Corina and Lisette fanatic. Because of his obsession and their hot jamz I love freestyle and i've learned so much since then. From TKA to Giggles to April to Suave, I've learned what it is and what makes it so hott. I just wish I was a little older so I could have been there with freestyle back in '85-'86 when it was born.

hearing things like this makes me wish i was older.....i would of loved to have lived that time...it sounds like such a special era and unfortuantely there is no way to relive it unless you were there... oh well at least we have the music....ill take it from there and make my own era :spin

I'm like a kid on christmas morning, I should have been in bed hours ago,but music is my life! I'm lovin this site,I feel like I just ran into somebody I havent seen in years!. I love the music,I was in it from the beginning and I'm still in it to win it!!
