Freestyle on Pulse!

I think the amount of Freestyle ive heard on the station in the last 48 hours is perfect. I dont understand the complaints. Most of us are sick of KTU for constantly playing old music -"classics" and not playing enough new stuff. Isint requesting more or mostly freestyle on Pulse calling the kettle black? I love everytime a freestyle song comes on this station, but i CERTAINLY dont want a majority or even 50% of the music to be freestyle, or else we just end up in the same boat that KTU is now in.....a tired station playing "old" music for "old" people that the younger generation(s) gripe about, sorta how a lot of us do when KTU plays 70s music/disco.

In my perfect world Id want more current underground house/trance/electro and even some booty music & 25% freestyle(or something similiar to power 96 Miami's format back in 1996/97). On the same token, I think the format is "realistic" & well-balanced overall. I think we're lucky to have a CURRENT dance(rythmic top 40)station, most of the country is not this fortunate.

i have to agree with you in some ways - the little freestyle i have heard on pulse usually are songs that have not been heard in a hell of a long time on radio - i believe it was yesterday i heard india's "lover who rocks you all night" - c'mon tell me the last time you heard this song aside from being heard on a mixshow!! i do wish they would play a little bit more -

They had some good 90s stuff: Rare Arts, Jocelyn Enriquez, Bianca, Robyn S etc ... & another i never heard.

I guess if i only liked freestyle i would prolly still go nuts waiting for a song to come on. Station is still young who knows what will be hearing a year from now. As long as it aint KTU's Anthem - Its Raining men haha

I think Pulse should bring in the FREESTYLE FLASHBACK SHOW WITH DIAMOND BOY LUIS. It's a National now but not in NYC. I listen to it on Latino 96 on Sunday nights when I'm in LA. He plays the classic Freestyle mixed with new joints and some of the best mixers. Pulse should put it up against tired KTU.

The station won't survive if it only plays Freestyle.. There are some really great dance songs from this year, last year and the years before it - and they should all be getting airtime. I can definitely see Freestyle making a comeback if a dance station makes all the right moves - because Freestyle can always fit in with an upbeat dance music station.

I would go further to say maybe only one or two female freestyle vocalist can hang at her level
