Hallo @ all!

In my favourite Disco, here in Frankenberg, they play only 3 - 5 Freestyle Songs in one night. And only old songs like Fantasy Girl or Limelight (always the same). For me it`s not enought! So I always must go to the Dj to ask for more Freestyle music. And I think the other people like the Freestyle music too. It´s unlikely that it will be better the next time.🙁 They play to much of techno, trance, black music and hiphop.

How is it in your Disco?

Do you now some good Discos or Freestyle-Parties here in Germany?

How is it in other countries, like France, England, Denmark...?

Thanks for all posts!😀

It is like in your disco...they only play the well known Stuff like Stevie B, Lil Suzy, Johnny O (THE OLD STUFF - i didnt heard Diana so far) but in clubs arround my town they play arround 30 up to 45 Minutes Freestyle (German Freestyle also).
Last time we went to friends out of the town and we sit in the Garden when Rap Music and R & B Music was heard....then suddenly Limelight was played we wlaked down to that place where the Music comes from it was from a Soccerclub they Celebrated something like (Kirchweih) a place where they have Carrousels (dont know if it ´s right) they played arround 40 Minutes Freestyle......

I think in other countrys here in Europe they play less Freestyle as we did here in Germany or they dont play it.......

PS: Do you go to see Johnny O performingin Freiberg at the 11th of July ??? I dont know if i go there ??? I will see Lil Suzy instead of Johnny O....LOL😎

There is only Freestyle in Germany.

The last time I've heard a Freestyle song on a French radio or in the clubs it was in 1992...it was a song of George Lamond.

So, nothing to add.

I'm so sad...PLEASE HELP ME! LOL

move to north america, guys! come enjoy the many sides of freestyle here... actually I hear there's a lot of good euro/trance/techno in europe. maybe we could trade spots 😀

yea that sounds sick! germany's got the best dance music anywhere - u guys even get techno festivals! sounds very cool

I 'm less and less a big fan of Freestyle music and more and more a Trance music buff.

In my opinion, the best Trance music comes from The Netherlands, Belgium, and England and sometimes from Germany. There is more Techno in Germany than Trance music.

But it's true, Germany is opened for every kind of music.

Do any of the radio stations in your country that play even a Bit of freestyle - Stream online?

If so we have a good chance to work with them and
develop freestyle in your area.

Let me know.

Jack,

In France, there is no radio stations who play (even from time to time) Freestyle music. Most of them don't know what kind of music is! And the other part, they are not interested by this music. Weird, but true.

I also have the opportunity to talk with some promoters of Dance and generalist French labels in the past. All of them don't care about Freestyle music.
