Freestyle In Other Countries

Have you guys ever hear of freesytle in other countries? I know back in 1995 - 1996 when the first freestyle websites came out, there was freestyle in U.S. (obviously) Netherlands, France, Canada and Mexico.

There is a fair bit of freestyle coming out of Europe, specifically Germany (Anthony Norris, Ceres, Free System, etc.)

i know in portugal over the years ive heard not really on the radio but mostly people playing it out of stereos and cars, ive heard stevie b especially spring love, lil suzys take me, rockelle in a dream i guess more popular stuff and this year i heard ceres' open ur eyes on the radio twice. its not big there and my cousins say its mostly north americans that bring it over on vacation and then leave the tapes and cds behind...

When I was in Cyprus over the summer a restaurant had some freestyle music playing but I dont remember what song. That was the only time I heard freestyle there besides my own cds lol. 😛
