Gina Dee with material out? "I'm waiting" was relased in Februar 2001, I hope there will come even more songs of her. I think Freestyle Project is currently very big and famous in Europe. And Free System, too. I've heared two songs vom an artist called "Dimi". Her songs are quite good but I don't know where I can buy them, I've searched everywhere but didn't get it. And I'm not sure if she's from Europe.

So keep freestyle alive!

Dimi is from Toronto! you can find her song 'only one' on Tony Monaco's Freestyle Heaven 3 compilation. it was written and produced by Elissa. My favourite Dimi track is I'm in love but I don't think you can buy it just yet.

Augsburg is one part of Germany where Freestyle is well played at the clubs and many people out there know what Freestyle Music is......I think Augsburg is the home of Free System...

We have to wait February or the Spring. Some projects are in the works...
...but since September 11th, the Freestyle actuality in Germany is not very important. Many record stores have closed (due to the bankrupcy of some of them) and most of the labels
and artists wait next year to release (maybe) new stuffs.

No...I don't really think that the scene in Germany sleeps. I think it's because of the winter that there are so few relases the last weeks and months. Freestyle is the music for the summer 😀 so I think the same as francis said, there will come up many more songs in spring at the latest. Free System said that they are working on their new single 😀 I hope it will sound like "Angel" or "Don't Pass Me By", but I don't like "This love.." not so much because it sounds like many other bad german freestyle songs (Double Effect, Officer,...)

I dont know since when you watch the Freestyle Scene in Germany ??? You know that ZYX shit. They relaese Freestyle Vol. and 80 % of the songs are very very oooooold or the songs are not Freestyle at all. You have to read the Columns from Francis, he agrree, too about the ZYX stuff.
Acts like The Officer are very good, i dont know if you knew that Officer = Stonay and Stonay = Marc Austin ????
Free Sytsems "This love....." is one of the best songs of them and very popular in Canada and some parts of the US, too.
Do you know Bodybase ??? He comes from my hometown "Nürnberg" his stuff is good, too.
Is Freestyle big in augsburg besides Free System ???

I haven't said that they are all worth to buy them, but there are very many relases I think. The problem is that they are all sounding the same. First the stifled (I don't exactely know if this is the right word for "unterdrückt") beginning, then the typical claps, and always the same bassline. That's why I've said that don't like "This love..." very much.... But I think this song would be very good if there weren't the typical beginning. I don't really know how to explain in english...
Of course I know BodyBase. But they have changed the singer I think. The new one is comming form Aschafenburg. The old Songs "My only desire", "true love", and "crying in the dark" are really really good, but I've heard a new song from this project called "Sweetheart" ....it's not really my taste.
I don't really know if freestyle is big in augsburg, because I'm still too young for the clubs and so I can't say if the clubs play much freestyle. I often hear the freestyle beat out of cars 😀 especially in summer. But as I know there are many german freestyle artists comming from augsburg (Freestyle Project, Anthony Norris,..) and Manifold Records is in Augsburg, too. But there aren't any freestyle songs in radio. I think nowhere in germany freestyle is played in radio.

the Sweetheart Song is from the same guy who sung the other songs.....and as far i know, the Guy Alexander Thompson was under no good management and they ripped him off or something like that.
how old are you, cause you said you´re too young for clubs ???
By the way one of the guys from Underdog Project (Toni Cottura) used to live in Nürnberg back in the days.

Yeah, you´re absolutley right, it sound everytime the same.
I dont know if they play Freestyle at local Radiostations in Augsburg, but here in Nürnberg, Radio N1 plays sometimes Freestyle like Lil Suzy Underdog Project.....etc. The well knowner stuff. Stevie B performed 2 times back in the day here in Nürnberg. I think Free System performed at a club here, too.

i see no very good releases in the near Future, cause i knew a lot of People here, i knew the people personally who did the Officer Mix and other people who are involved in this business.

when you mean the "Sweetheart" - Song....Yeah it is, but it is not new it´s out for almost a Year or so.
As far as i know, Alexander Thompson sold a CD with his songs in Clubs here in Nuernberg where i live and that CD contains the song.

When you dont heard that song, i can send it to you on a CDR and maybe other songs, too......you have to let me know.

I don't exactly know who sang what song from Body Base. I just heared from a guy at the Napster network a few months ago. He told me that sweetheart is sung by another guy as my only desire. But I don't know it from first hand 😉
I'm only 15 years old, so I'm not allowed to go into the clubs yet.
Hey, Toni Cottura had made some stuff with Nana, too, hadn't he?

Well in Augsburg there is no freestyle at the radio. I've heared "Fantasy Girl" twice, but that's the only Freestyle song I've heard in radio. Yes of course the popular stuff like Underdog Project, but only because the were in the charts.
But Stevie B was here, too. I think it was 2 years ago. I don't exactly know.
