Does anyone know of any programs available that will allow you to edit songs and give them that stuttering editing effect that freestyle songs have become so well known for. I know back in the day they used to use a DAT and a razor blade, but I people guys like Bad Boy Joe do it all on the computer....Is this anything we can get our hands on? If anyone can help me out please let me know!

Wave lab for pc it's from steinberg and is absolutly amazing and easy and will do everything u need from editing-converting to mp3 straight down to mastering

Acid Music is good for stuff like that too. Acid's main intent is for remixing and creating original tracks, but you can edit songs as well.

Yeah, I use my computer to lean on while I cut the reel with a razor blade and tape.:blah

the best program for edits

By far the best program is called Session 8. You might be able to find it on ebay for cheap. It was sold with a soundcard but I can't remember the name. We have used many programs to edit, but session 8 has features that all the other programs don't have.
