If you can go back in time and live in the city of your choice during those slammin years of freestyles peak - which city would you pick?

As for me I would choose -

Miami - from what I read, Miami seem to be a red hot place to be.

I would go back in the 1990's in the City of San Jose California...


I remember the big concerts they had....Esp. at this club called "Hollywood Junction", they use to always have live performances with freestyle artists like Spanish Fly, Stevie B. Cynthia including lots of bay area rap artist.

1985 - 1990 in San Jose was the shit. Studio 47, Paradise Beach, Oasis, The Library, plus cruising on Story & King. Can't beat it.
 
New York City Babe, The best time for Freestyle, you had every club down here playing Freestyle, from Paladium to Roseland, right up the street you had Red Zone and who could forget Studio 54. Every major radio station was playing Freestyle from Hot 97 to Z100 and of course KTU.
Best time every!!!!!!!!!

YES! That's where I was and where I wanna be. and mentally where i'm at. When music was fun. 😀
 
shoot i remember over here in dallas, with zapps night club, club kreations and others.. but now that sall gone... back in the 90's
