“If something has to get done, you have to take that chance and go for it” is a theory that Freda has always gone by. “You can’t be scared of failure, but only welcome it to move on to the next challenge” is a quote taken from a published interview that will be released with her new record “Groove Love”. After the release of “Take Me Away”, a production team from Italy heard her vocals and went to the “Jaxx Crew” production team to find out who she was, soon enough Freda received an invitation to collaborate with “Black and Blue” a house team based in Italy.
Understanding that she had already written a house track “Such a Good Love”, she approached “Black and Blue” with the idea of taking that record to the next level, they heard it, and loved it. After several weeks of researching sounds and Dj feedback, the production team of four, completed “Groove Love”. While still in it’s pre-production stage, the production team took the track to a club where Dj Fargetta plays (Producer/Dj of many European artists) and his comments were to “keep going”.
When requests came in for a track that wasn’t even completed 100% the team knew they had something good in their hands, so they finished the track and took it to Alabianca Records for licensing. Alabianca took the track to clubs and feedback prompted them to release it as soon as possible while the market is hot, pushing a late summer release to an early July release.
Based on Club Feedback from Rome and Milan, Alabianca decided to place the track on an annual summer dance compilation “Paradiso Beach 2002” where “Groove Love” is featured with artists such as Erika, Prezioso, Dj Ross, Dj Herbie, MadHouse and more. Both the compilation and vinyl are distributed via Warner Europe and Global Net, it’s a hot item at import shops.
Starting in August Freda will be promoting her new single in Italy, where she will perform with acts on both the compilation and charts. Fredamusic.com will be kept up to date with her highlights from the promotional trip. As well as a new site to be launched on her arrival back from Italy.
