Well, for the girl to tell me that she want's to be alone for awhile (I immediately get the hint there 😉 ), and that she wants to be friends.

Direct, is the best way, no need to beat around the bush.

Sometimes for me, its better to be straight, up to the point. And I accept it. Though its happened to me when I was a young teen.

FG,lol, I was just buggin' out. But seriously, if a woman would want to break up with the guy, or vice versa, then he/she should do it straight forward and be as understanding towards the reaction the 'other' will get...and sometimes it'll come out being a friendship still, except now it'll be plutonic. well...goodluck.

like everybody said, give it 2 em straight but if i was in the situation, i would be hurt no matter what but i wouldnt show it around the girl cuz for the most part, unless she ended up being heartless she would feel sorry for me and i hate people feeling sorry for me it makes me feel so low 🙁
 
NO BS! Tell me straight up, that's how I want it. I hate girls that beat around the bush... pain in the f'ing butt! 😡 I'm speaking from recent experience (not in a break up, but in another situation).
 
I always like this question because it asks what you want to be told without hurting the other person. One way or another, you are going to hurt that person. There is no way around it. If you are in a relationship, just tell the guy or girl straight forward and no b.s. Tell the truth and you will get much respect from it. Stop thinking about what to say and how to say it and just do it.

p.s. Let's be friends doesn't work. It could and rarely works, but that is just a catch 22
 
Like everyone else is saying, be direct. If you lie and say that you want to be alone or something and then he sees you with another guy, it'll hurt even more. Just tell him exactly how you feel.
 
well i guess i'd like the direct approach instead of beating around the bush... if you don't want to be with me tell me, please, because it'll hurt even more if the relationship drags on... i have only had 3 relationships.... all of them, well lets just say they didn't know the concept of the direct approach 🙁
