I must tell you about my day so far. LOL

The interview I had in New York was very well received and I have a 2nd interview Wednesday. Time to be determined. I feel very good about this position and I hope to get it. I am not going to get my hopes up high because I always do and then I am let down. So, I am going to shut my mouth until the final decision is made. I need like ten million Hail Mary's and twenty million Our Father's said. LOL

The other interview that I had this afternoon was cancelled because they got someone already. The office manager called me and told me on my machine. Which is fine by me since it was like $8.00 an hour and they wanted spanish speaking. Although I know some spanish, they wanted someone more fluent in it. Im not upset by it. Kudos to the individual who received the position. 🙂

So that is how my day is so far. Now I am going to relax and plan my strategy for Wednesday. LMAO

Well, I finally got the call and the news was not what I was expecting.

I didn't get the job. 🙁 Everything was good the interviewer said; but it wasnt enough for me to be considered for a second interview and the position. I kinda had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach that something was not right and this was it. My feelings are never wrong. But at least I went there and I gave it my all and I felt pretty good about it.

I'm not down and out yet. The agency that sent me to the interview is working on something for me as we speak so at least they are looking for me. Who knows guys, there could be another job out there that is even more money. 🙂 Wouldn't that be wonderful????????????? Maybe I can finally get out of debt. LOL

I want to thank everyone for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. They mean so much to me and I know that you are always with me in my heart. I will be ok. Its just another bump in the road. 🙂

I know now that I cannot get upset over every job I don't get and get depressed over it. But at least I know I can hold my head up high and tell myself that I did a hell of a good job. And I had my Starbucks Coffee today so I was good to go. LMAO

Aww, Jenn sorry to hear about that. But I fully agree with what Chuck said. Onedoor may have been closed, but I'm sure another will open. Last March, I quit the job I loved but couldn't take the ass of a boss, so even though I was crushed to leave, I had my second job to kind of fall back on, but being the hours were significantly less, it was also less money. I was bummed for awhile, but then that job went from part time to being full time, and I'm pretty happy. So long story short, things happen for a reason, and I'm sure that something better will come along! 🙂
