Ever since I deleted KaZaa from my PC and had my computer thoroughly checked out and cleaned of any and all viruses, I find myself truly missing KaZaa only because of the rare, unreleased shit that I was able to find and download, I'm talking about things that I never knew even existed like tracks worked over by First Choice, Loleatta Halloway, Madonna, France Joli, etc.

What's currently out right now that is safe? Aside from iTunes, what is everyone using and how safe is it to download files without contracting any viruses or spyware programs? iTunes is great, but I find that everything worth downloading is on "white labels".

right now I am using Limewire and I haven't had any problems so far, I got rid of my Kazaa because I kept getting viruses from it!!

Yea, my cousin has LimeWire and I was finding some good music the other day. So no problems, huh? That's good to know. I'm going to check into that, see what the overall feedback is on that or other programs. Thanks.

I had a lot of problems with Kazaa....I currently use LIMEWIRE and haven't had any problems...I actually have been able to find rare stuff on limewire that I was never able to using Kazaa and the quality on Limewire is better too in my opinion

limewire is very reliable these days - also i use soulseek which is another "safe" program. mostly i use bittorrent to download my stuff

That's where I kept getting all my viruses from...Kazaa. I'm now using WINMX and so far so good. It's quick and I'm finding some rare stuff from my fave bands, so I'm happy with the switch. 🙂

I use Soulseek & Winmx but I only be there because of the chatroom. I rarely download unless it's from my peeps

I have to agree with everyone in that Kazaa was the cause of many problems in my computer. I too use LimeWire. Man it's way quicker and you get what you look for. It's a share ware you must get.

i use BearShare.. never any problems with that... For some reason Limewire never worked for me... :crap

LimeWire PRO u only have to pay 18.88 n its way better than the basic one oh n dats just a single payment
