The following was a reply , from a Jordan Knight fanclub message board.There are people interested in freestyle/ new freestyle , but they don't know it's out there. People on this site love TKA and did not know that they even had a new album.We need to somehow reach more new fans for FREESTYLE.......I am trying

i grew up on freestyle...

ever heard of tazmania records, they had some really good freestyle on their cd's, lot of different groups...


have you guys work with any old "school" groups. like safire, or india, or soave???
my favorite was tka, i know they released a song a while ago "when will i see you again"
, judy torres played it on 103.5( i live close to nyc}
i met speedy from 103.5 at a nsync concert in long island.. he didnt think i was old enough to know about "old school" freestyle, i dont look my age at all..
i miss freestyle, it is what i grew up on, still listen to it.. not much new freestyle songs out there these days.
i heard johhny o has got a few new songs out, i wish i could find them on cd.. and george lamond, has new stuff out i heard.
glad to see you guys are trying to bring it back...

THATS REALLY GREAT TONY!! IF PEOPLE DON'T KNOW WHAT OTHER MUSIC IS OUT THERE BESIDES THE REGUAL STUFF ON THE RADIO, THEN THEY HAVE BEEN SO "DEPRIVED" FROM WHAT WE'VE ALL KNOWN FOR YEARS!!

THAT IS DEFINATELY A GOOD WAY TO GET THROUGH TO OTHER FANS WHO ALREADY LIKE GOOD MUSIC, THEY JUST DON'T KNOW FREESTYLE IS OUT THERE!!
THERE'S NOTHING WRONG W/LIKING "OTHER MUSIC" LIKE JORDANS, HIS MATERIAL IS PRETTY GOOD. AND GOING ON NON-FREESTYLE ARTISTS WEBSITES AND TRY TO "PROMOTE" FREESTYLE, IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS YOU CAN DO!!

I DO IT ALLL THE TIME!!! THERE ISN'T A PLACE I DON'T MENTION OUR FREESTYLE! AND YES, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, I ALWAYS GET, "HEY, I REMEMBER TKA?" OR "WOW, THAT'S FREESTYLE?" LIKE THEY'VE BEEN HIDING ALL THIS TIME...BUT WE ALL KNOW HERE, THAT THAT'S NOT TRUE! FREESTYLE IS ALIVE & KICKING!!!KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!
 
I'm always running into young kids that like freestyle. they too, tell me they dont know any new freestyle because they cant find it. alot of these kids dont go to the internet, either for freestyle.if they hear it in a club, they'll ask around for it.

We need to get on some of these boards an introduced this music that we love so much.I know everyone is not gonna feel it , but we have to try.NSYNC, BS BOYS, 98 DEGREES ETC, Sell because they have a lot of exposure , promotion,and major radio,we need to reach some of these 2 millon plus fanz. If we only have 100,000 of there fans supporting our music , that did'nt before well I think we've made some impact.These are the people who will buy the albums at the malls and internet, so lets get moving.......I only see 2 people who have even attempted to reply to this post. I commend you Heidee and Kenny

This is what i'm talking about, lets do this.
I notice something, everytime someone post a negative thread, you have so many people responding.When something positive is posted not so many people respond. I'm not saying all of the time , but most of the time.Why are we so quick to respond to the drama, but not to the positive ways or actions we can explore to help Freestyle music.

Is it just me ? or does anyone else feel this way?
I'm not concerned with J-lo or P Diddy,whether or not they can sing or rap. Whether or not they get back together or not. The end result is that is not going to help Freestyle music.
They are doing something right, when they are selling the number of records, that they are selling.
I'm more concerned with how we can get people to react to our music, so that we can sell more records and get major radio play.

I for one do not want to be happy with selling 1000 copies of the Nu Image album.
So how can we go about reaching more potential listeners/fans?

When Nu Image receives fanmail from fans in Salt Lake city Utah,Brazil,Spain,Japan,Germany,Paris France,Canada etc.

This tells me that Freestyle has potential to rise again.
Most of our new fans never heard of Nu Image or our music before our website.
The power of the internet, is incredible.
If we can get only 3000 people from each one of those places to like and buy our music we would be in a better spot than we are now......

I don't know about you , but selling 16,000 albums sounds better than a 1000, to me it does anyway.

Well I just think need to start focusing more on how to make this music rise again.
Like Kay said time is running out lets do it already...
