Here's an old trick my mom use to use when colouring eggs.

Get pantyhose (yeah sounds weird but hear me out)
Cut half the leg off so you use the "sock" part lol
Grab a leaf or mint leaf, or any small leaf/leave you may find
Wrap leaf around egg, and place gently in sock
Tie closed upper part of hosiery and dip into dye
Dye will go through leaf and leave the print on the egg (almost like a shadow)

Well I wanna thank you all for the compliments... And spy boy I guess your mom was really creative.... I will be looking out for these kits again next year They even had one that you can place hats on them.... Like I said if you are a kid at heart and have no kids but maybe grandchildren nieces and nephews get together with them.. these kits cost 2.79 each one was Lisa Frank that is where the characters came from they give you directions on how to make them but my kids added there own twist loll...
