D'Zyre - "Forever Amo'r"

Does anyone know why there is an apostrophe in the word "Amo'r", in the title of the song "Forever Amo'r" by D'Zyre? I used to think it was supposed to be Spanish, but if there is an apostrophe, then obviously it's not Spanish. Could it be perhaps another language? Tagalog maybe?

wait, Fernando maybe right. maybe they were referring to amour but spelled amo'r. they tried to make it stand out and not leave people thinking its spanish.

Fern, i know amor in French is spelled amour...my question was about the apostrophe...which seemed to be out of place...

Crystal, yes it does stand out more...but not in a good way, it's kinda like a lil' splinter...*LOL*

Orgntr1 is right, in my opinion.

The apostrophe was inserted and the "u" was dropped for effect:

"amour" became "amo'r"...which would make the title more memorable.

An apostrophe was used to denote that a letter was omitted. That's all this was, in my opinion.

That could very well be...but for some reason i just assumed it was supposed to be Spanish since the pronounciation appears to be in Spanish "Amor" and not in French "Amour"...even Andrea Salazar says "Te amo, mi amor"...and not "Je t'aime mon amour"

BTW: i just realized one thing...a song that actually does use a French speaking part "Forever More" by Stevie B...has a similar title to the D'Zyre song...and the female speaking part ("Je t'aime toujours mon amour") is also similar in meaning to the Spanish speaking part in the D'Zyre song...*LOL* Things that make you go HMMMM.
