I was just listening to his stuff. I listened to "whip appeal" and "never keeping secrets" before going to bed after a long time of not listening to his stuff. It hit me with all these memories of my life.
My favorite of all time since I was small was "my kinda girl". For those that dont know how it goes.....it kinda sounds like "every little step" by Bobby Brown. But I feel "my kinda girl" is better. I remember being 12 years old watching the video and trying to copy the dance moves for that song. hehe. I crack up when I remember.

Babyface..yeps never keeping secrets is still a powerful song.

His last album though...when he tried something different...it was horrific from what i saw and heard lol

when will i see u again, is a great song!!!

i still listen to that when i am gettin over some guy

How could you not! I don't really care for his music, but he's written some killer-ass ballads for many other artists' such as Faith Evans, Mary J., T.L.C. and he was the man behind the "Waiting To Exhale" sound which is a masterpiece!

Orgntr1- Bro, you remind me of myself in some ways. I see how music plays a role in your life, as it does mine.

Oh shit! Who remembers that group from the mid-80's that Babyface first had is debut? It was an all male group, and their biggest (and probably only hit) was "Day & Night". Anyone wanna take a guess?

....Before "The Deele", Babyface was apart of a group called "Manchild". They ran from the 70's and into the early 80's. If you happen to have a copy around, then you are serious about your babyface shit.

Yeah, to me, Babyface was starting to mature and lost his feel. He also had a kid around that time and decided to get serious with his wife and kid. When his last cd came out, (not that it was bad) I got the impression that he was just trying to prove to us that he could keep up with the times. He also didnt produce most of his tracks on that cd like he used to. Lost his touch.

Wow well other than being one of the most successful Producers and hit makers in the entire 90s decade writing and producing hits for whitney boys II men (he produced end of the road and wrote I'll make love to you )Maddona (take a bow)Toni Braxton Mary J Usher Celine Dion Mariah Carey Aretha Franklin the list goes on and on and going on to Soundtracks as well as producing movies LIke Waiting to exhale that entire soundtrack was off the charts especially shoop one example as well as the Bodyguard. In 97 him and his wife opened a movie production company and thier first film project from thier studio of which he also wrote and Produced the Soundtrack for was Soul Food He STILL is one of the best writers and Producers in the business especially when he gets togther with his boy LA Reid who he used to sing with in that group after he left Boosty Collins. He left Epic after many years in 2000 and he's back with his boy LA at arista. The man has won grammys left and right for his works including one for Eric CLapton's Album change the world and the last movie Soundtrack album he produced was the Josie and the Pussycats. His last album was in 2001 and is working on one I believe now In between some other artists he's producing.
