I'm a 20 year old male and i'm kinda sorta seeing a 24 year old female and the age thing is kinda bothering me more than i thought. Her age is kinda intimidating me. It doesnt seem to be bothering her all that much. My question to everyone is does age really matter in a relationship.
 
I dont think age matters at all. If you guys are into eachother, then the age difference is irrelevant. 4 Years is really not a big difference anyway. I dated a girl 5 years younger than me and age was not an issue.
Remember its not how old you are but how old you act........
 
FreestylePrynce, the age thing should not matter in your case. There is only a 4 yr. difference there.

I've had this same problem recently. I seem to be attracting younger guys (way younger). For instance, I am 32 and I have a friend who I've known for a long while. He is 21 and is very interested in me. He is a really sweet guy and would do anything for me, but I won't allow anything further simply because of the age difference. I do act younger and apparently look younger than I am, but I always have this fear that when we go out to hang with each other, people are lookin and wondering why this old woman is with this young kid...lol. Age shouldn't matter, but it really bothers me for some reason. So, we remain as friends.

I would have to agree with WhoCarez.....Age doesn't matter. Like Sexyangel said IF he was 18 and me being 26 that's a NO NO!!! But 'm 26 and I've dated guys as young as 22.....didn't work out cuz they acted like 12, but thats another story.....hehehe
 
mentally (maturity, and intellectually) its important to be on the same level.... sometimes its harder to find with people that have a lot more or a lot less years then you... but if you can... then whats stopping you?
