I was just thinking about Trust and how important it is in my life. I think is the one thing in my life that can make or break any kind of relationship I may have with anyone to the extent that if a person lies to me in any which way I cut them off totally and completely it may seem harsh but thats just something I live by, If I take someone into my life and give them my trust im giving them a part of me one of the most sacred parts of me and to be betrayed or violated would bring to an end what ever bond I may have built with that person. I do not trust easily many who know me will always notice I do not discuss my personal life openly. I share with people what I want them to know because I have been violated so many times in the past trust isnt something I give easily. People arent always what they seem nor are the things they say. there arent many who have my trust totally. So my question to everyone is do you trust do you hold our trust to the same level as I do if someone lies to you or betrays your trust do you forgive, I don't. How many people can you say you honestly trust totally.
 
I would have to say you can only trust yourself 100% and totally, my trust has been broken by others before some I have forgiven some I have shut the door to for good. Sometimes even if the trust is broken it's hard to shut them out at least for me. but some make it easy to close the door on them. as far as people I trust there are only two that I can name that I know I could tell them anything and it stays right there, and I won't be judged by them.
 
Hey my aprtnah. I think I got this way from so many worng doings to me even when you give the person the option to avod them lieing they still come back and lie. Its weird but the truth always finds its way to me, I cant even explain it but it always does, its like I attract the truth from people, and when someone lies its like I can always tell. My grandmother always taught me to forgive but to never forget so I forgive and the not forgetting makes it easier to just cut them out of my life. I guess facing the New Year is making me reflect on things and trust happens to be one of them. To trust someone blindly is so rare.
 
Trust IS a big thing to me. I am passive guy... BUT the 1 thing that burns me is when loyalty by friend or family goes out the window. thankfully it hasn't happened in the family...! so far there are only 2 people i trust completely w/ my life. b/c neither have EVER burned me....& in my heart I know they never will.
there was a 3rd person.... but he put a knife inmy back a few years ago.... friends since kindergarden.... see what chicks will do to ya...LOL :blah
 
TRUST IS SOMETHING YOU EARN AND I BELIEVE THAT IF YOU LEARN TO TRUST TOO MANY PEOPLE YES THERE WILL BE HURT. THAT IS WHY I KEEP IT SIMPLE. I TRUST THOSE I BEFRIEND BECAUSE I READ TEHM FIRST. IF I CAN GET A GOOD VIBE AND PERSON IS EASILY LIKED I HAVE A FRIEND AND WILL BE A FRIEND FOR LIFE. I TOO HAVE BEEN BURNED IN THE PAST WHICH IS WHY I GUESS I KEEP UP MY WALLS UNTIL I GET TO KNOW YOU WELL. A PERSON WHO RUBS ME THE WRONG WAY WITHOUT EVEN SPEAKING DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A CHANCE. I AGREE WITH THE LADIES YES I CAN FORGIVE AND I STILL SPEAK TO THOSE PEOPLE BUT NOT ON THE SAME LEVEL ANYMORE. BUT AS SOMEONE TOLD LONG AGO YOU CAN NEVER REALLY FORGIVE IF YOU CAN'T FORGET BECAUSE YOU WILL ALWAYS QUESTION CAN THIS PERSON BE TRUSTED. SO MAY BE I DON'T FOGIVE ENTIRELY BUT I GUESS TO A CERATIN EXTENT.
 
DAMN i really agree with u on this. i have such a hard time trusting people n when i do trust people i always get scerwded some how. i know where your coming from. i dont think it is harsh to shut people out of your life if they do anything to violate your trust.
 
Trust is so important to me. The only way to hurt me is to break my trust. When I allow someone into my life i do so with all my heart and trust. When that is gone so is everything. My honey and i made a promise of honesty with eachother regardless and needless to say it what we've doing. Sometime's it hurts but I prefer to know the truth that being hurt by a lie.

I find it very hard to trust people. I learned the hard way. There are only 2 people in my life that I trust completley. One is my best friend that I have known since I was 4 yrs old and the other is Maci. Both I trust with my life.

I've learned the hard way too. I too, unfortunately, have had to resort to a "One strike you're out" with men LOL They do ONE weird thing in the beginning and I nip it in the bud. Too many times I haven't trust my instincts, only to be burned. The other thing I've learned is that trust takes time and you really shouldn't trust people that easily, no matter how sincere they look. That goes for both men and women.
 
THAT'S A GREAT QUESTION ANGIE....IN MY LIFE I DON'T TRUST TOO MANY PEOPLE ANYMORE...BESIDES MY MAN THERE IS ABOUT 5 PEOPLE THAT I COULD SHARE ALL WITH WITHOUT WORRYING. I FIND THE LESS AMOUNT OF PEOPLE I HAVE AROUND ME...THE MORE PEACEFUL I AM...ASSOCIATES ARE A DIFFERENT KIND...AND I HAVE MANY OF THEM.
