Do you have "soul food" day???

Soul food......the food of your soul, your blood, your nationality.

Sunday at my house is Soul Food day. During the week, the food is just whatever is grabbed from the refridgerator. Chicken, seafood, beef, burgers, whatever.

However, on Sundays, it's always Italian. Pasta and sauce. Meatballs, Italian Sausage (hot & sweet), garlic bread, the whole deal.

Does anyone else have one set day a week where they eat the food that is connected to their herritage?

hmmmmmmmmmmm I eat spanish food on a daily basis, whether it's for lunch or dinner, so i can't really say that i have a soul day.

How cool to have it every day.

I enjoy it just once a week, but that's ok. With all the carbs in Italian food, I can't have it every day anyway. lol

mmm yeahhh i guess we have soul food days on a reg basis..
one day its italian..one day mexican at moms, another day
it's puertorican..at my in-laws..or a classic american cheeseburge..lol 😉
