I have decided that I am going to try an Old School Hip-Hop mix very soon. I have a good idea of what I am going to use (I just have to go out and buy the records)...

It will be strictly hip-hop for the old heads, lol...

Do you mean mix them together? there are very few hip hop songs that can "keep up" with a freestyle beat, I mix both, and I'm a turntablist too!!! i've done a freestyle cover with a Jay Z beat

One time I actually was able to mix the acapella of "CAN'T YOU GO" by Coro with the instrumental of "STOP BEING GREEDY" by DMX...It sounded hot but DMX had be spun at 45 RPMS and pitched down -10%, Coro was pitched up about +4%...
