I bought the new Judy Torres CD, the greatest hits, last night...and its ok...i thought it was gonna be the origionals, but they were all reworked songs with updated music and judy resinging them...dont get me wrong, judys voice wasnt the problem, the problem was adam marano changing her good beats into Collage sounding J Torres songs....im not 100% dissappointed with it,,, cuz im glad the freestyle mix of back in your arms was one there....but i think it could have sounded better if more of the orig beats were used
 
It's not Judy's fault...It's not Marano's fault either (to a certain degree)...

It's Paul Klein's fault - he doesn't want to pay the licensing fees to use the original material - this is why the GREATEST HITS packages that Empire Music has released for Stevie B., Collage, Lil' Suzy, Aby and Judy Torres feature remakes instead of the original recordings. By having Marano re-record the songs - they avoid having to pay licensing fees and royalties.
 
dont get me wrong...judy sounds real good..its just some of the music...kinda sucks...and i reallllly dont liek the way no reason to cry was redone,,,its all mixed WRONG...the order of the verses is weird and the song ends like right in the middle...oh well whats done is done!
 
I'm still going to buy it due to the fact its Judy...but I'm waiting til the 12 when Angelina's Album & Rockell - Tears CD Single comes out so I'll buy it all on one shot. I may also pick up Connie's greatest hits CD 🙂
 
Grafpix....Angelinas cd is already out, had it for a few days now....its HOT...go check out any online record store, they all got it In Stock.....it may not be up in this area for a while, so that may be the best way to get it
