I use an Akai DR-8. I would imagine that it's nearly the same thing. It is also hard disc. I personally love it. I would rather do my mixxes on that then on SoundForge or Vegas Pro. I have 3 softwares but I only use those to clean up the crackles.
I'm glad to hear positive feedback on this item because I just won one in an auciton from ebay. I'm awaiting its arrival. What do you think is the best way to go as far as putting the tracks on disks?
