That's been the case since Volume 1 was released. It's no rumor! The man behind the scenes of it all....Kirk Ramon has been on and off the project. There is no definite set date as to when Volume 2 will be released but there is one thing I can assure you that when it does become available you will know about it. Just keep visiting the freestyle sites as you normally do and you will see. Same goes for the re-printing of volume 1 that became discontinued some time ago.

In fact, YES. I'm in touch with him, and he told me that the day he will re-release the vol.1 and maybe a vol.2 (nothing is planed for the moment), he will let me know personally. 😉
By the way, the day he will release them, he will personally do an official announcement on the different boards.

Well that's exactly what I said accept Volume 2 would be a definite release. There is no maybe in that!!! You sure you talked to the right Kirk??? The last time I talked to him....he was making plans to continue his work on volume 2. I dont like to say much about this but I can tell you that this is true and not a rumor!!! Dont believe me?....Maria mentioned Volume 2 on the Volume 1 cd to be released "soon" on the last track. So that has been the case since volume 1 (the release of vol. 2).

This volume 2 is announced since a while back ago..between fans only.
Believe me, I talked via email to Kirk couple of times in the past, and even he would love to do vol.2, nothing is officially planned for what I know. Maybe soon...We just have to wait.

He certainly announced you a volume 2 but he doesn't know when it will be released. I'm sure you agree with that. Maybe it will be released in 2003 or in 2004 or in 2005. You don't know, I don't know!! That is a fact!!!

I talked only about facts, not about upcoming "projects". There is a bunch of comps and albums which were supposed to be released last year or this year, and I didn't see them.
If you know him so well (apparently you do), just ask him to post here, FOR AN OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT and release date.
As yourself, I have the impression to talk in the void!!! End of conversation for me.

I'm pretty sure Kirk has already seen this thread by now but i'll tell him anyway.

Francis....I just dont want to be looked upon as a liar or an exaggerator or someone who spreads rumors....that aint my intent. I know how strict these moderators are these days and im wathcing out. For any little thing they'll delete your posts...and the first thing you said put this whole thread in jepeorday...and me on the lookout (possibly).

To become a fact: Kirk posts a reply on this thread with some official information on the compilation and most important, a release date. Very simple, isn’t it?

I want you understand something Orgntr1. My main problem with your thread is that you announced something that you are not sure about. I explain myself without to offend you this time (apparently I did). I won’t say that you are a liar or an exaggerator (I never had this thought anyway) because you said what you said about this vol.2. But I’m pretty sure that Kirk don’t have any release date at the present time and he doesn’t know when he will release this vol.2 yet. If not, he will already did a official announcement. He didn’t. And I respect that, because Kirk always told me that the day he will release the vol.2 and maybe the re-release of the vol.1, he will “PERSONALLY” post on the different message boards.
So, I don’t see the interest of your reply. Why you talked for him by the way?
In a certain way, you maybe pushed Kirk to release this comp faster?!?
Maybe he wants to release it in 2004 or 2005 ? Or maybe he won’t do anything because at the present time he just have the project in his mind, even if “maybe” he already got couple of songs written or recorded for the vol.2.
Once again, you don’t know, I don’t know.
This is why I prefer when somebody possesses real information, and not when somebody says: “This comp/album “WILL BE” released soon but there is no definite set date.” Honestly, what is the interest of this kind of reply? You don’t say anything informative! You just talk about a “possible project” nothing more nothing less.

I hope this time you will understand why I replied to you on this thread. Believe me, my goal wasn’t to put you down or to treat you as a liar.

If you look way up.....I never gave any dates. I might not be informative but I dont want to keep people hanging with questions about that project....so i'll tell them what I know in hopes that others with the same question look at the thread to know. If you re-read my post....what you claim seems to almost match what I had posted. Your regards to say that my post was a "rumor" wasn't eligible. I find it very irrelevant. In conclusion, I dont claim this project possible, it's definite. Just dont know when. Exactly what you said. What a rumor that was. Payce!!
