Dana Dane-The Object of 80s Desire?

Confirm this to me. Is this the same Dane (2003's "Object of My Desire) that had songs such as "Cinderfella" and "Delancey Street" in 1987? Or did I simply spell the name wrong? Just asking.

I think it's the wrong group cause the one 80's to 90's were and RnB group I think!!
