I know it kills you to see me this way,
But daddy Im not a little girl anymore,
I'll be leaving you some day,
Please do not cry when I walk out that door.
The days are getting shorter,
Time is quickly passing by,
And there are some things I wanted to tell you,
Before I have to say good bye.
You are and always will be my daddy,
The best daddy in the whole wide world,
And Im glad to know and say,
That I was once your baby girl.
Im sorry for all the times I lied to you,
For all the times I wasnt fair,
But deep down inside it wasnt true,
You know I always really cared.
Mommy always told me that we are alike,
How we love to make people laugh,
How we both love to do the same things,
I guess you can say Im your other half.
Its time for me to go now,
Because there are some things I must do,
But I wont be gone for long,
And remember daddy.... I love you.

She's a teen. We all lie. But we all learn from our mistakes. Crystal is learning which means even though she did it she was woman enough to admit it. Well I decided to try something new, cause Ive written plenty of times about my mom...Never really wrote about dad, cause we were never close. But that was a long time ago..Weve been closer these past 3 years.
