Tokyo based Dazzle Drums aka Kei and Nagi Sugano previously thrilled listeners with the hypnotic Elem track, which was the third release on Centric Music. Elem was championed by DJs such as Osunlade, Alix Alvarez and Jimpster, and remixed by Kiko Navarro and Formation Soul. Here they return to the label with a sure fire winner in the shape of Night Heron. This is another magical floor filler, with the power to hypnotise and uplift dancers. Already, this track has gained support from the likes of Halo, Kiko Navarro, Jinks, Laurent Garnier, Jesus Gonsev, Harri (Sub Club) and Henri Kohn.

Dazzle Drums have been busy with other projects, which has seen them release music on imprints such as Nitegrooves and Loop Sounds. Kei and Nagi Sugano have both been DJs since the mid 90s. They currently run a weekly party called Block Party, which takes place at the Loop venue in the famous clubbing district of Shibuya in Tokyo.

Original:* Night Heron is a mysterious dancefloor stormer. Eager keys, sinister synths and heavy percussion hits home on this powerful track.

Dub: The Dub is a similarly powerful winged beast. On this version, the keys positively sparkle, as the bass weaves a magic dance.

Instrumental: The bass comes to the fore on the Instrumental and dominates proceedings.* The keys and beats still hold their own, but it is the formidable bassline that holds all the cards on this version.
